The Photographers

Our Heritage, Our Story.

Established in 1973, Roots is Canada’s leading lifestyle brand known around the world for its style, quality, comfort and durability while appealing to a diverse multi-generational community. Our collection of Heritage bags are inspired by the Canadian lifestyle and designed for the style conscious photographer.

To help capture the true style and function of this collection, we asked a group of Toronto photography students to use the bags on assignment and around the city. The photo collection they provided showcases their individual styles and techniques for the next generation of photographer.
